I started this post by quoting the entire op-ed, and breaking it apart line by line - but then realized - any reasonable person can do that by his own:

Instead, allow me to voice my humble opinion on what GOP should do:
Pass short term hike in congress ASAP, let Democrats in Senate and Obama fall on their own sword.
Repeat and rinse, periodically until election day. If Obama wishes to single-handedly both bankrupt the US and cause it to default when he is empowered not to, then GOP has no choice but to let him.
PS. Consider impeachment due to dereliction of duty, derangement, incapacity to perform duties.
